Using Basic CSS

CSS is great, and my blog would look pretty awful without it. you can customize html codes with tags like 'span', but what you can do is limited, and extremely hard and annoying to edit. however, by using css, you can pretty much do what you want, as long as you know how. you need to start somewhere, and i think that this basic css tutorial should be just right!

Firstly, paste this code into your html:

now, go and play with this bit of css, and all should become clear. you can find more css tutorials on my blog, and on sites such as tizag and w3schools, which are both really helpful. also, colorpicker is a great tool for finding out the correct colour codes so that you can style your html with whatever colours you choose.
